Ultra Seal Product Line
Spring Energized Seals – seals machined from PTFE (or other high pressure polymer seal) and pre-loaded with a corrosion resistant spring. A wide range of jacket and spring designs are available to meet specific sealing requirements including long life, low friction and maximum sealing ability. The spring energizer compensates for wear, tolerances, misalignment and eccentricities.
PTFE Rotary Lip Seals – formed or machined from highly wear resistant PTFE composites for long life, low friction, high surface speeds, poorly lubricated conditions and soft shafts. Available with metal backing or o-ring on the seal OD for support and to prevent seal rotation.
Resilient Metal Seals – precision engineered seals for extreme conditions requiring high levels of seal performance. The seal consists of a hard metal alloy retainer and second, softer metal plating. A seal is created by virtue of the soft metal flowing into the mating surface. The popular C-seal configuration offers resilience (spring-back) and low leak rates suited for most applications including cryogenic to high temperatures, hard vacuum, intense radiation and corrosive environment.
