Ultra Seal Series 800 : Helical Spring

The Ultra Seal Series 800 line of radial and axial seals are energized by a helical wound ribbon spring design. This combination of seal profiles and heavy-load spring design was developed for use in static and very slow dynamic applications maximum sealing ability is required. Ideal for low temperature service, gas, low vacuums, etc.

Radial Seals



Descriptions:

Series 800 – Standard profile for general applications. Rounded sealing lips for optimum performance in low to medium pressure and/or speeds.

Series 800E – With extended heel for use in higher pressures and temperatures.

Series 801 – Standard profile for use in wiping/scraping applications. Scraper ID is ideal for service involving viscous media and abrasive particles.

Series 801E – Wiper seal with extended heel for higher pressures and temperatures.

Series 802 – Standard wiper seal profile for piston sealing applications. Wiper on the seal OD.

Series 802E – Wiper piston seal with extended heel for higher pressures and temperatures.

Series 803 – Standard profile rotary seal (similar to 700) but with a flange to permit clamping against the housing to prevent seal rotation with the shaft.

Series 804 – Scraper profile rotary seal (similar to 701) but with a flange to permit clamping against the housing to prevent seal rotation. For slow rotary service only.

Series 805 – Inside pressure face seal for axial sealing applications. For static and very slow dynamic service.

Series 806 – Outside pressure face seal for axial sealing applications. For static and very slow dynamic service.
